Melissa Blackwell
Melissa Blackwell is the Program and Event Coordinator for the Educating Character Initiative. She comes from a strong background in event management and catering with 15+ years of hospitality experience. Melissa is originally from Washington D.C., but moved to North Carolina in 2020 with her 2 children. In Melissa’s free time she enjoys spending time with her kids, reading books, and completing her Doula Certification. Melissa is excited to now make a home for herself here in Winston-Salem as a part of the Leadership & Character team at Wake Forest.
