The Leadership and Character Ambassador Program is designed for Wake Forest students who are committed to putting character at the heart of leadership by developing virtues such as empathy, justice, hope, humility, and courage during their college careers. Through this program, participants engage in communal and individual activities based on our Seven Strategies for Character Development.
Becoming an Ambassador
Students aspiring to become Ambassadors will be provided with the 7/12 Workbook, a guide specifically designed for self-exploration and to navigate them through the program. The workbook includes a Passport at the back, providing room for seven stamps that align with the seven strategies for character development. When students participate in an activity that shows their engagement with a particular strategy, they will receive a stamp. After collecting all seven stamps, students qualify to be initiated as Leadership and Character Ambassadors and will receive a special pin to symbolize their exceptional commitment to leadership and character development.
Ambassadors serve as official representatives of our Program and enjoy a number of benefits, including:
- Official titles and resume-enhancing language
- Special community leadership opportunities
- Roles in supporting the Program and mentoring prospective Ambassadors
- Exclusive events, such as special dinners with guest speakers
As our Ambassador Program grows, we continually seek to expand the opportunities available to our Ambassadors, ensuring their experience remains rich and rewarding.
