Bio
Jessica Koehler is the Senior Research Scholar in the Professional Schools. Jessica has a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education with a focus on motivational psychology in adolescent education. Since 2019 she has been at Wake Forest University, first working in the Department of Engineering to lead the development of their ABET accreditation assessment and continuous improvement system while also supporting the KEEN grant to integrate character into the curriculum, and later as the Visiting Scholar in Engineering for the Program for Leadership and Character in the Professional Schools. Before coming to Wake Forest, she spent five years as the Director of Research for a nationwide non-profit focused on character development in adolescents. She also holds an M.S. in Chemistry and over a decade of experience teaching STEM courses in high school and undergraduate settings.
