Bio
Cheraton Love is the Director of the Center for Personal and Professional Development in the School of Medicine starting in October 2022. She earned a B.S. from Winston-Salem State University in Molecular Biology. At Wake Forest University, she earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology. In her role as the Director of CPPD, she leads a team of Personal and Professional Development Coaches in providing support for all students at Wake Forest University School of Medicine (WFUSOM) in domains related to personal and professional development, leadership and character. As the co-Course Director and faculty facilitator in the course Medicine and Patients in Society (MAPS), since July 2023, she teaches and serves as the administrative co-lead for this bioethics and professionalism course taught to first and second-year medical students. Before joining the Center for Personal and Professional Development, she was the Director of Education Strategy and Operations at the Wake Forest School of Medicine.
