Roscoe Bell
Roscoe Bell, from Jacksonville, Florida, graduated cum laude with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Music on the pre-medicine track. A staunch advocate for mental health and the arts, he significantly expanded these programs at Wake Forest University. As co-president of the National Alliance for Mental Illness Club, he bolstered mental health resources for students. He also co-led Musical Empowerment, providing free music lessons to underprivileged children in Forsyth County. Roscoe initiated Wakeville, a standout student-led festival, founded Songbird Musical Service, offering musical therapy to local dementia residents, and was later honored with the Christian Cappelluti Prize in Music. Through the Richter Fellowship he studied self-awareness and well-being in Scandinavia and Vietnam. Roscoe’s true passion lies in making a difference, evident in his co-founding of Noveltor, a mental health startup. In effort to offer therapists and patients the technology they deserve, Noveltor enables therapists to easily offer curated out-of-session care with little to no effort. He is the Wake Forest Fellow for The Program for Leadership and Character and expanding his company.
