Our staff and the ECI Fellows are committed to learning from, with, and for the ECI Community. We want to partner with you in a shared effort and movement to educate character in colleges and universities.

Toward that end, we would love to find ways to connect with you to address needs as they emerge. ECI Staff

The ECI Staff includes scholars and practitioners with expertise in:

  • character-based pedagogies;
  • curricular and co-curricular program design;
  • research design, assessment, measurement, and evaluation; and
  • grantwriting and grantmaking.

The team supports grantees through consultations and coaching in all of these areas and welcomes conversations with individuals and teams from institutions across the US and beyond.

ECI Fellows

The ECI Fellows include distinguished leaders and scholars in character-focused pedagogies, program development, and assessment and measurement. They work as consultants for individuals and institutions across the ECI Community to guide program and pedagogical development in diverse contexts. Their work is vital to enhancing the quality of programs supported by ECI’s funding initiatives and to extending the scope of the work ECI staff can accomplish through its educational efforts
