Our educational efforts are designed to be responsive to questions emerging from within the ECI Community and to help advance strategies for collective learning that reflect and respond to our members’ understanding of character in context. Through our community-building efforts, we engage with individuals and institutions to cultivate relationships, collaboration, and shared purpose. Our team connects across sectors and perspectives to create communities of practice for practitioners, scholars, and advocates of character education in higher education. Through formal and informal gatherings, networking events, and conversations, we provide a space for meaningful dialogue and growth.
Our research team and character scholars pursue emerging ideas and critical questions, ensuring our approach remains dynamic, informed, and impactful. We make resources available to the ECI Community, while seeking to highlight colleges and universities across the nation as exemplars of how institutions can develop character in distinct ways.
