Kendall Freeman

Kendall Freeman is a Personal and Professional Development Coach. He earned a B.S. from East Carolina University in Family and Community Services. While continuing his studies at ECU, he earned a M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy. He also received a Graduate Certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling from East Carolina University. Before joining the Center for Personal and Professional Development, he was the Academic Curriculum Manager at Wake Forest School of Medicine, overseeing all basic sciences and longitudinal curriculum during the preclinical years. He was also one of the Course Directors and faculty within the Medicine and Patients in Society (MAPS) course, which covers bioethics and professionalism. At Wake Forest School of Medicine, he was the Standardized Patient (SP) Manager for the Center for Experiential and Applied Learning (C.E.A.L). He has practiced as a behavioral health specialist, family therapist associate, multisystemic therapist, and was a facilitator for an award-winning program at Children’s Home Society of North Carolina known as “Wise Guys,” an evidenced-based pregnancy prevention program for males.
