Call to Conversation
“My humanity is bound up in yours, for we can only be human together,” Desmond Tutu famously said. The Program for Leadership and Character and Call to Conversation (C2C) believe this to be true. We need each other to survive and thrive.
Call to Conversation has received national attention since its genesis in 2018, and thousands of people in hundreds of cities have attended gatherings. The premise is simple: share a meal and discuss an important topic.
With these basic elements, people are invited to be human together by sharing, listening, and breaking bread. The Program for Leadership and Character believes that dialogue across difference is one of the main factors in character development and is thrilled to facilitate Call to Conversation programming for the campus community.
