Nailah Calamese is the Programs and Events Coordinator for the Educating Character Initiative and the Program for Leadership and Character. She holds a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies from Winston Salem State University and is a proud Bay Area native. Her primary experience is in program and events coordination within the nonprofit sector. In her role, she supports the planning and execution of programming that allows participants to focus on connection, reflection, and impact. She is passionate about crafting meaningful experiences for event attendees, holds a strong interest in mission-driven work, and enjoys contributing to environments that bring people together across diverse perspectives. Outside of work, she enjoys the arts, staying active, and spending time with her family.
