Scholar of Character Pedagogy


Elizabeth Whiting is the Scholar of Character Pedagogy and lead teacher for the Educating Character Initiative (ECI) at Wake Forest University. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Trevecca Nazarene University, an M.Div. from Vanderbilt University, and a Ph.D. in religious studies from Emory University, with a concentration in Religion, Conflict, and Peacebuilding. She serves as the University Ombuds at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
