ECI Book Club Registration

Our book club engages authors in conversations about their published books and their implications for character-building efforts. Authors of each of the four ECI Book Club selections will attend gatherings to discuss their work in real time with character educators. An ECI staff member will interview the author during the first half of each gathering. The second half of the book club will be spent in audience Q&A.

• Feb. 5, 2026, 4–5 p.m. ET: Book Club Gathering: The Virtues: A Very Short Introduction: To launch our spring book club series, ECI’s Liz Whiting will facilitate a conversation with authors Craig A. Boyd and Kevin Timpe about their book, The Virtues: A Very Short Introduction.

• April 13, 2026, 4–5 p.m. ET: Book Club Gathering: Against Aristotelian Character Education: Later this spring, Liz will engage in conversation with author Benjamin Miller, who will discuss his book, Against Aristotelian Character Education.
