Movie Nights with Leadership and Character
In response to the global pandemic and its broad range of effects on the lives of students, the Program for Leadership and Character created Movie Nights with Leadership and Character. Every week leading up to finals, students gathered virtually to discuss a different movie’s relevance to their lives and our time, build community, and practice the skill of meaning-making. Our film offerings included:
- A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, facilitated by Ann Phelps, Director of Programming
- Black Panther, facilitated by Dr. Michael Lamb, Director of the Program, and Raven Scott, Assistant Director of Programming in the College
- Little Women, facilitated by Hannah Lafferrandre, Fellow in the Program
We look forward to creating more virtual opportunities for students and members of the Wake Forest community to engage meaningfully with others and explore the role and relevance of leadership and character in this time of crisis.
