On Thursday, October 22, 2020, Dr. Michael Lamb spoke on “How to Become More Virtuous” at North Carolina State University’s Thomistic Institute. In this virtual gathering, Lamb outlined the seven strategies of character development that inform our Program for Leadership and Character at Wake Forest. He also offered practical advice on how students could apply these strategies creatively in their own lives.

These seven strategies are explained in more depth in Michael Lamb, Jonathan Brant, and Edward Brooks’s article, “How is Virtue Cultivated?: Seven Strategies for Postgraduate Character Development,” which is forthcoming in the Journal of Character Education. The article can be viewed here.
