So You Scanned a QR Code
Welcome! You’re here because you scanned a QR code that you saw on the back of a table tent somewhere on the campus of Wake Forest University. And because you scanned this code, you must be wondering, what is the Program for Leadership and Character, anyway?
Let us tell you.
Our Program does a lot of things. We are perhaps most well known to students for running discussion groups that invite students to reflect on the “big questions,” such as what it means to be a leader, how we can become better people, and what it means to live a “good life.” We also put on events like arts workshops, theater talkbacks, and leadership trainings. We’ve sponsored a Principled Pluralism fellowship, where students can delve deeply into ways to overcome division. And we work directly with student organizations, athletics, Greek life, and more, and offer scholarships for incoming Wake Forest students. In short, we want to provide places where you can ask big questions, get beyond small talk, and connect deeply with other students who want to make the world a better place.
If you want to know what else we’re up to, you can always look under “What’s New?” on the top of our home page.
If you’ve got some time to kill, you can explore the rest of this website to learn about who we are, what we’re about, and what we’ve been up to.
If this all sounds intriguing to you, the best way to stay in the know is to sign up for our emails. Whenever we have something going on that we think you might like, we’ll send it right to you.
We have more things in the works as well. We also post quite a bit of stuff on Instagram and TikTok. Some of it’s serious. Some of it’s not.
There’s a lot more to say, but we’ll leave it there for now. Thanks for taking a few moments of your day to scan a QR code and read a little bit more about our Program. And if you have any big questions that just can’t wait, we’re always here to help.
